I wanted to become a doctor and serve the underserved. The next step was to find a way to make it happen. On the advice of several physicians that I worked with, I looked into UAG. The School of Medicine has existed since 1935. In the 1960’s, UAG received international students from the U.S., and it was not until the 1980’s that UAG open the International School of Medicine.
How many entering classes per year?
Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, School of Medicine has two entering classes per calendar year: January, and July.
When do I start seeing patients?
From Year 1, students engage with real Spanish-speaking patients through Medical Brigades and hone their skills in simulated clinical scenarios at our advanced healthcare simulation centers.
